What does WTD stand for?
WTD stands for Whole Teacher Department—a community and learning platform for educators. We reimagine how educators are supported through community, learning, and inspiration.
What are Pillars and Pins?
WTD organizes content into nine Pillars, which serve as broad categories for Insights and Experiences. Each Pillar includes a set of Pins (sub-categories) that make it easier for educators to find the exact support they need— and for providers to share their expertise in a more targeted way.
What value can I get as a provider?
As a WTD provider, you gain direct access to a nationwide community of educators. This is an opportunity to share your expertise, showcase your approach, and build trust through meaningful contributions. We hope your insights spark exploration—encouraging educators and administrators to engage with your content and consider your offerings.
What is my role as a provider?
There are no formal requirements. We simply ask that your insights stay non-sales-focused and centered on connection, learning, and inspiration. Share practical strategies and ideas that educators can take with them—and that might lead them to explore more of what you offer.
How can I interact with educators?
There are so many ways to interact! Start by posting insights that spark meaningful conversation. Be sure to jump into the contributions to connect with educators who engage. Plus, you can create Experiences—your own space for deeper, focused interactions with educators who are diving deeper into your content.
What is the purpose of an Experience?
Experiences allow educators to participate in action-based learning with you. You can choose from 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, or 12-week formats depending on the skill you’re guiding them through. This is your space for immersive connection—away from the Lounge—and comes with ongoing data to help you understand how educators are engaging.
Does my Experience form automatically save?
No! This is important—please use our editable brainstorming worksheet (located on our Provider Resources page) and fill it out before submitting directly on the platform. That way, you won’t risk losing your work.
What are the file requirements for my weekly videos in an Experience?
All videos should be landscape (16:9) and have roughly 48 pixels of a safe zone around the top, left, and right of the primary figure. Videos must be less than 2½ minutes.
Can I edit my Experience after submitting it?
You won’t be able to edit it yourself. However, we’re happy to help! Just email us at support@wtdplatform.com with the name of the Experience and the changes you’d like to make.
How long does it take for insights to go live?
All insights are reviewed and go live within 24 hours.
How will I know when an Insight or Experience go live?
You’ll receive a notification inside WTD—look for the light next to the Updates bell.
Why aren’t insights automatically saved to my profile?
We’re all about intentional, community-driven profiles. When educators visit yours, they’ll see what you’ve chosen to highlight: your most recommended insights (ones you’ve bookmarked from your own company) and any insights from other providers you support.
How do I support other providers?
So many ways! You can:
- Contribute to their insights by joining conversationsÂ
- Follow themÂ
- Save your favorite Insights from providers to your Toolkit.Â
Why are insight character counts capped?
WTD is designed to offer support in 30 seconds. Insights should be clear, practical, and digestible. That way, educators walk away with something new—and something that can make a difference in their day right away.
Why do I have to wait for my Insight to go live to the department?
We want to maintain a consistent, educator-centered tone, while still honoring your unique voice. Our WTD SUPPORT Rubric ensures all insights are authentic, actionable, and offer educators the most value possible.
What is the WTD SUPPORT Rubric?
Insights are… | Explanation | |
S | Significant | Provides meaningful and relevant value to educators. Avoids sales or promotional language. |
